Nimrod Marom
Nimrod is the co-director of the Archaeozoology laboratory at the University of Haifa in Israel. His extensive career includes years of independent work as a zooarchaeologist, analyzing a wide range of animal remains from Neolithic to contemporary periods. Recently, his research has honed in on the influence of human activity on desert wildlife, especially large carnivores, as the principal investigator for the DEADSEA_ECO ERC-Stg project (2019 to 2023).
