I have participated as a lead author in three UN panels: the International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD, 2005-2008), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC: 2010-2014, 2016-2019, 2019-2022), and the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES, 2022-2025), as well as in the Scientific Advisory Mechanism of the European Academies of Science (SAPEA) in the report on Sustainable Food Systems for the EU and in the preparations for UNWomen CSW66 “Achieving Gender Equality and Empowering Women and Girls in the Context of Climate Change, and Environmental Policies and Programs and Disaster Risk Reduction”.
