Angela Trentacoste
Angela Trentacoste is a senior research fellow at the British School at Rome. She is a zooarchaeologist and isotope specialist, working with a focus on human-animal-landscape interaction in complex societies. She is particularly interested in animal selection and morphological development, mobility, and the relationship between arable farming and pastoral practices. Her current project, UrbanHerds, uses a suite of zooarchaeological approaches alongside isotope analysis and proteomics to investigate territoriality and rural exploitation by early cities.
